Deepali Sayed was born on 1 April 1978 in Bihar, India, and grew up to pursue higher education that included studies at Nalanda University in Bihar. She later attended SK Pantwalawalkar Madhyamik Vidyalaya in Kurla East, Mumbai. Her maiden name is Deepali Bhosale; after marriage she is known as Deepali Jahangir Sayed.
