Disha Madan was born on 9 March 1992 in Bangalore, Karnataka. Raised in a middle-class family, she began formal dance training at a very young age, starting Bharatanatyam lessons when she was three. Her early studies included instruction at local schools in Bangalore and later work with teachers such as Dr. Sanjay Shantaram. Disha attended Mount Carmel College in Bangalore and completed a graduate-level education.

Career

Disha built her public profile first as a dancer. She competed and performed in events including Karnataka Vaibhav in Singapore in 2010 and participated at the Karnataka Chitra Kala Parishath in 2012. She also ran an online dance tutorial platform called The TipTap Movement and has taught dance to college students.
