Divya Bhatnagar was born on 15 September 1986 in Delhi. She attended Vidya Bhavan Girls Senior Secondary School and later studied at Delhi University. From an early age she took part in extracurricular activities and college drama; a National School of Drama team selected her for a theatre production during her college years. She trained in Indian semi-classical dance and had a strong devotion to Lord Ganesha and the teachings of her guruji.

Career

Divya made her television debut in 2009 with a supporting role in the serial Chand Ke Paar Chalo. Over the following decade she performed in a number of Hindi TV shows, including appearances in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (2009), Sawaare Sabke Sapne… Preeto (2011), Sethji (2017), Shrimaan Shrimati Phir Se (2018), and Tera Yaar Hoon Main (2020). Alongside serial work, she featured in television commercials for brands such as Bayar and Visa Debit Card.

Her screen persona included both dramatic and lighter roles, and she continued to work steadily on television until 2020. She was also active on short-form social platforms, making lip-sync videos on TikTok prior to the app's ban in India.
