He earned a sports scholarship for college and achieved notable success in the ring, becoming an all-India national champion in the super heavyweight division between 1989 and 1993. He represented India at international competition and won a silver medal at a World Cup event. A significant injury led him to end his competitive boxing career and redirect his focus toward other pursuits.

The following year he established OK Life Care, a direct-selling company. In 2018 he formed OK Movies, a film production house, and is credited as a producer on the Hindi feature film P Se Pyaar, F Se Farrar (2019). A subsequent film project titled Hawayien was listed as unreleased as of February 2021.
