Early life and background
Dr. Praveen Tripathi was born and raised in Delhi, India. He completed his medical education at the University College of Medical Sciences (associated with Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital) in New Delhi, earning his MBBS between 2004 and 2009. He went on to specialize in psychiatry, obtaining an M.D. (Psychiatry) from the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) in Delhi, where he later began his clinical work.

Career
Dr. Tripathi started working at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences as a psychiatrist in 2011. After several years of clinical experience there, he established a dedicated clinic in Noida in January 2014 focused on psychological and sexual disorders under the name The Renowa Care.

From 2015 to 2017 he served as a consultant psychiatrist at Kailash Medicare & Research Centre in Ghaziabad. His clinical practice covers adult psychiatry, child psychiatry, sexual disorders and de-addiction, and he has treated patients for a range of psychiatric and addiction-related conditions.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Tripathi completed a course in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation at Harvard Medical School in 2018. He has cleared the United States Clinical Skills examination, an assessment of clinical competency recognized in that context. He is a member of professional bodies including the Indian Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association, and holds a practising license with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC/R/06714-Delhi Medical Council-2011).
