Early life and background

Dr Shahzaman Sardar hails from Karachi, Pakistan, where he completed his early schooling at The City School, PAF Chapter. He went on to study medicine at The Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi and holds an MBBS. He later completed an MD in the United States.

Career

Shahzaman’s medical training included clinical placements and observational roles in the United States. After earning his MD in October 2018, he undertook an internship at UC San Diego. He gained experience in radiation oncology under the mentorship of Dr Freeha through late 2018, followed by training in endocrinology at a clinic in Hamilton, New Jersey, under Dr Rizvi in December 2018. In January 2019 he spent time at Saint Louis University in Missouri as an observer working with Dr Kemp and Dr Abdul Rauf.

Returning to Pakistan, Shahzaman joined PAF Hospital in Karachi as a full-time doctor in September 2019. He moved into aesthetic medicine and in December 2020 worked on contract as an aesthetic doctor at Caviar Clinic in Karachi until April 2021. In July 2021 he co-founded The Beauty Doc Co. in Karachi with Dr Aelia Ahmed. The clinic provides modern skin and aesthetic treatments and has attracted a number of well-known Pakistani actors as clients.

As an aesthetic practitioner, Shahzaman offers contemporary procedures and technologies, including treatments such as Forma, Morpheus8 and Lumecca, and is known for skin-focused therapies and cosmetic procedures.
