Easwari Rao was born on 13 June 1973 in Tanuku, Andhra Pradesh, into a Telugu Hindu family. She trained in Kuchipudi dance and grew up in a household with several siblings; the available information notes three brothers and two younger sisters. Her mother is named Prabhavathy Amma. Rao’s early years in Andhra Pradesh set the stage for a career that would span multiple South Indian film industries.

Career

Easwari Rao began acting in films in 1990, debuting in Telugu and Tamil movies that year. Over the following decades she developed a versatile portfolio, appearing in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada productions. She used several stage names earlier in her career, including Janani, Vijayashree and Vyjayanti, before settling on Easwari Rao as her screen identity.
