Early life and background

Eleena Koul Pandita was born in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, into a Kashmiri Pandit family. Her parents are Girdari Pandita and Geeta Koul, and she has a younger brother named Eshaan. She attended International Delhi Public School Jammu before moving on to higher studies in New Delhi.

Eleena completed a bachelor’s degree in journalism at Delhi University and later pursued a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). She also trained at the Institute of Home Economics in New Delhi and studied acting at the Indian School of Acting in Ghaziabad.

Career

Eleena divides her professional life between home décor consultancy and acting. As a designer she specialises in European-informed interiors, with a stated emphasis on Italian styles. Her work in the décor field has run alongside roles in performance and screen work.

On stage, Eleena has appeared in theatrical productions, including a performance in Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? during her time at the Indian School of Acting.
