Fahmaan Khan was born on 4 September 1990 in Bangalore. Raised in the same city, he grew up with an interest in performing arts and took part in college modelling competitions. Khan trained in acting, dance and boxing, and spent more than nine years working in theatre before moving into screen roles.

Khan began his on-screen career as a model and appeared in commercials for brands such as Fastrack and McDowell’s No.1.
