Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu) Biography

Faisal Shaikh, popularly known as Mr. Faisu, is an Indian social media star from Dharavi, Mumbai. Rising to fame through lip-sync and short-form videos, he

Early life and background

Faisal Shaikh was born Shaikh Mohammad Mudassir Faisal on 5 October 1994 in Dharavi, Mumbai. Raised in the same neighbourhood, he attended IES New English School in Bandra and later studied at Rizvi College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in Bandra, where he completed his graduation. He grew up in a family with two sisters; the names of his parents and siblings are not publicly listed in the available information.

Career

Faisal began creating videos with a group of friends that he called Team 07. The group started by posting on YouTube, uploading their first video titled "Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan" in 2018, and later expanded to TikTok where Faisal focused on transition, comedy, and romantic short-form clips. His initial TikTok post was a transition video of the song "Tu Aati Hai Seene Mein," which drew a modest reaction at first, but he continued producing content and grew into one of India’s most-followed creators on the platform.

With a prolific output—reportedly creating more than ten videos a day at one point—Faisal extended his presence beyond TikTok. He built a substantial Instagram following and collaborated frequently with other creators and actors such as Avneet Kaur, Riyaz Aly, Jannat Zubair Rahmani, and Awez Darbar. He also appeared in several music videos in 2019, including titles like Viah Nai Karauna, Fruity Lagdi Hai, Kaali Meri Gadi, and Nazar Na Lag Jaye. That same year he launched a personal grooming product, a deodorant called 2407 Crush Deodorant.

Public profile

Mr. Faisu is known for his on-screen persona as a lip-syncer, performer, and model. Physically, he is listed at about 175 cm (5'9") with black eyes and black hair. He identifies as Muslim, follows a non-vegetarian diet, and counts Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan among his favourite actors, with Deepika Padukone and Kriti Sanon as favourite actresses. His hobbies include dancing, travelling, and spending time with friends, and he maintains a regular fitness routine, reportedly working out daily for around two hours.

Like many public figures, Faisal’s career has had contentious moments. In 2019 a Team 07 video related to the lynching of Tabrez Khan drew widespread criticism and led to the suspension of several TikTok accounts, including his. TikTok stated the content violated its community guidelines, and Team 07 later issued an apology for causing offence. Despite that incident, Faisal continued to receive recognition and awards as a social media influencer.

Personal life

Faisal is unmarried. Publicly reported associations have included ties to other creators; specific relationship details beyond rumours are not established in the available material. He has been linked in media reports with fellow social media personalities, but the licensed information does not confirm a current partner.

Latest updates

By 2019 Faisal had expanded into music-video appearances and consumer products, and he remained an active creator on Instagram with millions of followers. His brand activities and collaborations continued to form a significant part of his public profile.
