Falaq Naaz was born on 2 December 1993 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She spent part of her childhood in Kota, Rajasthan, before relocating to Delhi with her mother and siblings following her parents' separation when she was around 11 years old. Her father is from Rajasthan and her mother's name is Kehekshan Faisi. Falaq has two brothers and one sister; her siblings include actors Sheezan Mohammed Khan and Shafaq Naaz.

Falaq completed her collegiate studies at Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS University) in Meerut and is a graduate. She follows Islam and her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. Physically, she is listed at approximately 161 cm (5'3") and around 55 kg. Her hair is described as black with light golden brown highlights and her eyes are dark brown.

Career

Falaq began her television career with a screen debut in 2011, appearing as Goddess Lakshmi in the series Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev. She later gained wider recognition through her work in Hindi television serials. From 2013 to 2017 she was seen as Jhanvi Bharadwaj Malhotra in the Colors TV soap Sasural Simar Ka. She continued to take on varied television roles, including a part as Chhabili in the supernatural series Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara (2018–2019).

Other credits include appearances in episodes and serials such as Laal Ishq (2018), Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush (2019), and Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki (2021). Outside acting, Falaq has a background in dance: in 2010 she trained under noted choreographer Saroj Khan, who encouraged her family to consider moving to Mumbai so she and her sister could pursue dance and performance professionally.
