Early life and background
Flora Saini was born on 29 September 1978 in Chandigarh, India, into a family with an army background. Her father, JS Saini, served in the Indian Army and the family moved several times during her childhood. She attended Army School, Udhampur and The Army Public School in Delhi before completing her graduate studies.

After her schooling the family relocated to Kolkata, where Flora began pursuing modeling. She took part in the Miss Kolkata beauty pageant and gradually moved from modelling into acting.

Career
Flora launched her screen career in Telugu cinema, making her acting debut in the 1999 film Prema Kosam. Early work in Telugu films led to further opportunities across South and Hindi cinema. She made her Bollywood debut with Sabse Bada Beiman (2000), her Kannada debut with Kodanda Rama (2002), her Tamil debut with Gajendra (2004), and later appeared in Punjabi cinema with Paisa Yaar N Panga (2014).
