Garima Vikrant Singh was born on 27 April 1979 in Uttar Pradesh and grew up in Allahabad. She showed an early interest in music; her mother bought her a harmonium when she was in sixth grade, and she later completed a Master of Arts in music. Before turning to acting full time she worked with All India Radio and spent her early performance years participating in theatre in Allahabad, beginning around 1996.

Career

Garima began acting on screen with episodic television appearances and small film roles. Her on-screen debut credits include an episodic appearance on CID (2005) and an early film role in Halla Bol (2008) as a lady minister. She also featured in the television serial Parrivaar - Kartavya Ki Pariksha (2007) and was part of the show Chand Ke Paar Chalo (2008).

She gained wider recognition for television work in the 2010s, notably for her portrayal of Saraswati in Gustakh Dil (2013). Following that, she was seen in serials such as Chotti Bahu (2011–2012), Ishq Ka Rang Safed (2015–2016), Nimki Mukhiya (2017–2018), Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka! (2019–2020), and Nazar (2019), where she played a character named Panna in the show’s supernatural storyline.
