Garima Yagnik was born on 3 January 1997 in London. She spent her early childhood in the UK and studied there until she was about thirteen. After returning to India with her family, she continued her schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and later completed a degree at Mithibai College of Science, Arts and Commerce. She holds Indian nationality and grew up with a strong interest in the performing arts.

From a young age Garima was shy but drawn to theatre and music. While in London she participated in theatre productions and took music classes. Her upbringing included a blend of Western musical influences—she has said she feels especially connected to Western songs—and exposure to Indian playback music through family ties.

Garima’s professional pursuits span singing, acting and live performance. She made her film acting debut in 2021 in the movie Silence, playing the character Kia.
