Gautam Vijaypat Singhania was born on 9 September 1965 and is part of the Singhania industrial family that founded and built the JK Group. He grew up in Mumbai and received his early education at Cathedral and John Connon School and St. Mary’s School. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce from H. R. College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai and later completed a business administration degree at the University of Michigan.
