Giovanna Yannotti Angle was born on March 26, 1987, in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, and grew up in the Pittsburgh area. She is of mixed Italian and Chinese heritage and was raised in a Christian household. Yannotti enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh but left college to pursue modeling and acting full time.
