Gnaneswari Kandregula was born on 30 June 1996 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Raised in the same city, she attended Kendriya Vidyalaya Vishakhapatnam Steel Plants for school and went on to study engineering at Gayathri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering. She holds a Bachelor of Technology degree and later completed a course on Split-Thickness Skin Graft (STSG).

Family shaped much of her early life. Her mother, Annapurna Kandregula, has been a strong influence and Gnaneswari credits her for encouraging an outgoing disposition in social settings. She has a sister, Bhargavi Kandregula, who works as an advocate.
