Early life and backgroundGuneet Amarpreet Kaur Monga was born on 21 November 1983 and raised in India. She attended Bluebells School International in New Delhi and went on to earn a Bachelor of Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Career
Monga began working in the film world as an intern on the French-German production Valley of Flowers in 2004. In 2006 she joined Sepia Entertainment as a production coordinator and contributed to the English-language film Partition (2007). A year later she co-founded her own production company, Sikhya Entertainment, partnering with Achin Jain.
Under Sikhya Entertainment Monga produced and supported a slate of films that gained attention at international festivals.
