Early life and backgroundHarbilas Sangha, professionally known as Harby Sangha, was born and raised in Village Sanghe Jagir in the Nakodar area of Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He completed his schooling at Mount Litera Zee School in Punjab and went on to attend DAV College in Nakodar. Sangha comes from a Sikh family; his parents are Sawran Singh and Pritam Kaur.
Career
Harby Sangha developed an interest in acting and comedy from a young age and took part in numerous stage comedies during his school and college years, earning prizes at youth festivals. Before establishing himself in entertainment, he worked as a compounder.
His on-screen break came through an introduction by established Punjabi actor Gurpreet Ghuggi. Sangha first appeared on Ghuggi's television program in 2001, featuring in the song performance "Khali Mudi Barat." He went on to work in Punjabi television serials including "Yug Badal Gaya" and "Dina."
Sangha's film debut came with the 2004 movie Asa Nu Maan Watna Da. Over time he became best known for comic supporting roles in Punjabi films.
