Early life and background

Heather Louise Graham was born on 5 October 1996 in Subiaco, Perth, Australia. Raised in Perth, she began playing cricket as a child and developed into a genuine all-round talent. She is listed at about 1.65 m (5'5") tall and around 50 kg, with blue eyes and black hair. Her zodiac sign is Libra.

Career

Graham progressed through grassroots cricket with Clarence Cricket Club before rising through state and representative pathways. She made her debut for Western Australia in the 2011–12 season when she was twelve years old and remained with the state side through the 2019–20 season. In 2011 she earned selection for Junior Australia and was part of the squad that won the 2011 Indoor Cricket Junior World Series.

After moving to Tasmania for the 2020–21 season, Graham enjoyed an immediate impact. In her first season with Tasmania she scored consistently, averaging 40.57 and registering a highest score of 116. She also emerged as a leading wicket-taker for her side, taking 11 wickets that season.

In domestic white-ball leagues, Graham has been a mainstay of the Women’s Big Bash League. She featured for the Perth Scorchers from the competition’s inaugural 2015–16 edition through WBBL|07 (2021–22), and played a role in the Scorchers’ WBBL title-winning campaign—contributing with both bat and ball, including a crucial performance in the WBBL|07 final. For the WBBL|08 season (2022–23) she signed with the Hobart Hurricanes.

Her county and franchise experience includes a stint with Essex in 2014, and appearances in The Hundred with Trent Rockets in 2021 and Northern Superchargers in 2022. In the 2023 auction for the inaugural Women’s Premier League, she was signed by Mumbai Indians at the advertised base price.

At international level, Graham made her One Day International debut for Australia on 7 October 2019 against Sri Lanka in Brisbane. She recorded her T20I debut on 11 December 2022 against India in Pune. In a December 2022 T20I fixture versus India she produced a standout bowling performance, finishing with figures of 4 for 8 and claiming a hat-trick—the second time an Australian bowler achieved a hat-trick in T20 internationals.
