Himanee Bhatia was born Himani Seth on 26 July 1995 in Delhi, India. Raised in a household with mixed Pathan and Punjabi roots, she describes herself as a practising Hindu and follows a vegetarian lifestyle. Her father, Bikram Seth, worked in IT consulting while her mother was involved in the travel business. She has an older brother, Aditya Seth.

Himanee completed her schooling at Sanskriti School in New Delhi and went on to earn a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sri Venkateshwara College at the University of Delhi. During her college years she participated in and won several campus pageants, including titles such as Veet – Be the Diva and Campus Miss Fresher.

Career

Before entering the entertainment industry full time, Himanee worked as a business and legal consultant at the audit firm KPMG. She left that job the day she was promoted to pursue acting.
