Himanshi Parashar Biography

Himanshi Parashar is an Indian model and beauty pageant winner from Uttar Pradesh who rose to prominence after claiming the Femina Miss India Uttar Pradesh

Early life and background

Himanshi Parashar was born in the year 2000 in Uttar Pradesh, India, and grew up in New Delhi. She attended D. A. V. Public School Sreshtha Vihar in Delhi before moving on to the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, where she completed a diploma in pharmacy. Her family includes her father, Jainender, who worked as a policeman, her mother Pravesh, and an elder brother, Himanshu Parashar. Himanshi follows Hinduism and identifies with the Brahmin caste.

Career

Himanshi's public profile centers on modeling and participation in beauty pageants. She began building experience through stage and street theatre, and competed in several modelling assignments, ad campaigns, promotional appearances, and photoshoots. In 2018 she was a finalist in the FBB Campus Princess contest, which preceded her success later that year.

In April 2018 Himanshi won the title of Fbb Femina Miss India Uttar Pradesh. At the national Femina Miss India pageant that year she was recognized with subsidiary honors including Miss Active and Miss Body Beautiful. Her on-camera debut as a model came in a 2018 music video for the song "Download" by The Landers.

Beyond pageantry, Himanshi has invested time in fitness and yoga; she placed first in zonal individual competitions and at the Himalayan State Level Yoga Championship. She was also named Chisel Miss Active in 2018, reflecting her emphasis on athleticism within the pageant circuit.

Public profile

Himanshi stands around 1.73 meters (5 feet 8 inches) tall and maintains a model’s measurements often cited during pageant coverage. Her eye color is described as hazel and her hair as light brown. She lists yoga, dancing, acting, making Dubsmash videos, socialising with friends and family, reading, and partying among her interests.

She has spoken of taking inspiration from Manushi Chhillar and has long been interested in the Miss India competition. Himanshi describes values such as self-reliance, principled action, and kindness as personal strengths. An unusual personal detail she has shared is a childhood aquaphobia; despite that fear she has pursued fitness disciplines including yoga.

Personal tastes and ambitions

Himanshi’s favourite foods include aloo chaat and golgappe. She names actor Randeep Hooda and singers such as Shreya Ghoshal, Neha Kakkar, Arijit Singh, and Armaan Malik among her favourites. Her favourite film is Piku and she has cited the song "Buddhu Sa Mann" from Kapoor & Sons as a favourite. She has expressed a desire to follow in her father’s footsteps by joining the police service in the future.

Latest updates

As of 2018 Himanshi remained unmarried and professionally active in modelling and pageants. Her notable achievements from that period are the Femina Miss India Uttar Pradesh crown and multiple subsidiary titles at Femina Miss India 2018, as well as recognition in regional yoga competitions and the Chisel Miss Active award. Her modelling debut in the music video for "Download" by The Landers is also dated to 2018.
