Early life and backgroundJitendra Kumar was born on 1 September 1990 in Khairthal, Alwar, Rajasthan. He grew up in a family with an engineering background; his father worked as a civil engineer. Jitendra completed a B.Tech in Civil Engineering at IIT Kharagpur. During his college years he took part in elocution competitions, earning a bronze medal in Hindi elocution, and was active in extracurriculars that brought recognition to his hostel.

Jitendra began performing in theatre and later moved into online content. His first viral appearance came in a 2012 YouTube sketch for TVF in which he played an emotionally overwrought intern titled Munna Jazbaati: The Q-tiya intern.
