Justin D’Cruz was born on 25 July 2000 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Raised in the city he still calls home, he attended St. Peter’s English High School in Mumbai. From a very young age he was drawn to movement and performance; he began formal training in several dance styles when he was five years old. His early studies included Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Ballet, laying the technical foundation that would shape his later work.

Career

Justin first came to public attention through televised dance competitions. He competed with the group V Company (Vernon Dance Company) and appeared on Dance Plus, the Star Plus show where he and his team won the competition. He and V Company went on to represent the group at numerous national and international contests and performed on other reality formats, including Dance Champions in 2017.

Across live stages and television sets, Justin has performed alongside well-known performers and actors. His credits include stage appearances with Jacqueline Fernandez and Priyanka Chopra, and a performance with Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya on Nach Baliye season 8. He has also been featured at award shows such as the Kids Choice Awards (2016), Zee Cinema Awards (2017), and Filmfare Awards Marathi (2018 and 2022).
