Kadambari Kadam was born on 13 October 1988 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Raised in the city where she later built her career, she attended Vidya Mandir High School in Goregaon. From a very young age she was drawn to performing: she began appearing on stage at around three years old, an early start that set the tone for a lifelong career in acting.

Career

Kadam’s screen career spans television, film and theatre, with numerous roles in Marathi and Hindi-language projects. On television she appeared in early roles such as Vandana in Indradhanushya (1999) on Zee Marathi and a junior part in Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii (2001). She continued working on Marathi TV through the 2000s, including Akalpit (2005) and Hya Gojirwanya Gharat (2006). Kadambari played Antara in Avaghachi Sansar (2006) and later took the lead role of Radhika in Tujvin Sakhya Re (2011). She has also appeared on national television, playing Janki Desai in Teen Bahuraaniyaan (2009) on Zee TV and Bhoomi in Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki (2013) on Colors TV.

Her reality TV appearances include participating as a contestant on Maharashtracha Nach Baliye (2009) on Star Pravah.

Kadam moved between television and film throughout her career. She made a Marathi film debut in Hee Porgi Kunachi (2016) as Gauri Sawant and earlier appeared in films such as Patla Tar Ghya (2008) and Aaghaat (2010), in which she played Sangita Pradhan. In 2012 she portrayed Saee Dharmadhikari in Ajinkya. She was seen as Mandakini in The Silence (2019). In 2023 she appeared in the Hindi-language drama Three of Us, written and directed by Avinash Arun, playing Sarita Kamat.

Theatre has also been a part of Kadam’s artistic life. In 2023 she performed in the Marathi play Charchaughi in the role of Vaiju.
