Kamal Haasan was born on 7 November 1954 in Paramakudi, Tamil Nadu. Brought up in Chennai, he attended local schools including Sir M.Ct. Srinivasan, a lawyer, and Rajalakshmi Srinivasan, and has siblings Chandrahasan, Charuhasan and Nalini Raghu.
