She completed her schooling at Seedling Modern High School in Jaipur and went on to earn a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kanoriya Girls College in the same city. Raised in Jaipur, she comes from a family that includes five sisters and one brother; her father worked in business and her mother was a homemaker.

Career

After finishing college, Sharma relocated to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. Early in her screen career she appeared in a number of episodic television projects, including work on CID, and later featured in shows such as Code Red Talash, Twist Wala Love, and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. In addition to episodic television, she has been seen in promotional pieces for channels and brands, including promos for Zee TV, MTV Beats and the Zee logo.
