Kapil Tejwani was born and raised in Udaipur, Rajasthan. He completed his schooling at New Look Central School in Rajasthan and moved into specialised studies in visual arts, earning a diploma in graphic design from FX School, Mumbai (2015–2016). He later pursued further training in photography, completing diplomas in fashion photography, commercial photography and advanced studio lighting in 2017.

Career

Tejwani built a career in photography with an emphasis on food and travel work. Early in his working life he spent a brief period in sales and marketing at Musician’s Mall from March to June 2015. Around the same time he also began freelancing; he ran Kapil Tejwani Photography as a freelance photographer from April 2015 until June 2020.

From June 2018 to June 2020 he worked as a photographer with White Rivers Media. His portfolio has included commercial assignments as well as personal projects, with food and travel photography cited as areas he focuses on.
