Raised in the city he still calls home, he completed his higher education at Kishinchand Chellaram College (KC College) in Mumbai, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television, and New Media Production. Growing up in a family connected to the film industry, Irani developed an early interest in media and performance.

Career

Irani began his screen career with a role in the 2012 film Student of the Year, where he appeared as Kaizaad 'Sudo' Sodabottleopenerwala. Early work also included supporting roles in anthology and mainstream films over the following years, and he gained experience behind the camera as well — serving as an assistant director on Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012) and later on Takht (2020).

Across the 2010s he continued to balance acting and crew work, appearing in Bombay Talkies (supporting role), Youngistaan (as Zafar), and The Legend of Michael Mishra (as Half 'HP' Pant).
