Khushi Dubey was born on 24 April 2001 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. She grew up balancing school and acting from a young age, often carrying books to shoots and studying between takes. Her mother, Preeti Dubey, is also an actress. Khushi completed her schooling at Ryan International School in Kandivali East and later at Thakur Vidya Mandir High School & Junior College in Mumbai. She went on to study engineering, earning a B.Tech in Computer Science from Thakur College of Engineering and Technology.

Khushi entered the entertainment industry as a child actor. Her early screen work included television appearances in Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai and the role of Ganga Bhatia in Sangam (2007).
