Kiku Sharda was born Raghavendra Sharda on 14 February 1976 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Raised in a Marwari family, he completed his schooling at Don Bosco High School in Matunga, Mumbai, and went on to study commerce and management in Mumbai, graduating with a business administration degree and later earning an MBA. Vegetarian by habit and identifying with Hinduism, Sharda grew up with an interest in performing that he pursued alongside his formal education.

Career
Sharda began his career in entertainment in the early 2000s. His film debut came with Mitti in 2001, and he appeared in several Hindi films over the years, including Darna Mana Hai (2003), Phir Hera Pheri (2006), Dhamaal (2007), Happy New Year (2014), Jawaani Jaaneman (2020), and Angrezi Medium (2020).

On television, Sharda’s early screen work included roles in Hatim (2003) and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (2004). He gained widespread audience attention with the comic role of Constable Mulayam Singh Gulgule on SAB TV’s F.I.R in 2006.
