Kriti Kharbanda was born on 29 October 1990 in New Delhi and grew up after her family moved to Bengaluru, where she spent her childhood in the Indiranagar neighbourhood. She attended Baldwin Girls High School and went on to study at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College and Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian Law College in Bengaluru. Before acting became her career, she trained for a diploma in jewellery design and originally planned to work in that field.
