Early life and background

Krutika Deo was born on 5 May 1999 in Nashik, Maharashtra. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sir Parashurambhau College (S. P. College) in Pune, where she began performing in theatrical productions. During her college years she took on stage roles including a portrayal of Frida Kahlo in a 2014 production and a part in the play Saawlya in 2016.

Career

Deo’s screen career spans Marathi and Hindi projects across film, television, short film and web series. Her Marathi film debut came in 2014 with Happy Journey, and a year later she appeared in the Hindi film Hawaizaada. She has taken on a variety of supporting and character roles in films such as Prime Time (2015), Rajwade and Sons (2015), Bucket List (2018) and Anya (released in Hindi as Anya: The Other) in 2022. In 2019 she appeared as Radhika Bai in the historical drama Panipat.

On television she has worked in Marathi and Hindi serials, debuting in the Marathi series Prem He (2017) and later appearing in the Hindi show Internet Wala Love (2018). Her screen work also includes a number of short films — titles listed in her credits include So What!
