Kusha Kapila was born on 19 September 1989 in Delhi, India, and grew up in North Delhi while attending school in South Delhi. She completed a degree in English Literature at Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University, and later earned a Bachelor of Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology.
