Ugoke completed his 12th grade through the Punjab School Education Board in 2014.

After finishing school, he pursued a diploma in mobile repairing and opened a mobile-repair shop in his native village. That business was closed in 2019 for personal reasons. He has lived in modest circumstances with his family and is a father to two sons, Abhijot and Armanjot. His wife, Veerpal Kaur, does stitching work.
