Laxmi Yadav was born on 22 October 1997 in Bamheta Village, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Raised in her hometown, she attended Ram Kishan Institute in Ghaziabad. Cricket attracted her from a young age and she began more formal training in 2013 under coach Sanjay Nagar at DS Cricket Academy, where Nagar served as a mentor.
