Early life and background

Manav Gohil was born on 9 November 1974 in Surendranagar, Gujarat. Raised in a middle-class family, he completed a Bachelor of Commerce followed by an MBA. Before moving into acting full time, Gohil founded a marketing consultancy where he trained company recruits. He is known to follow Buddhism and lists travel and photography among his hobbies.

Career

Gohil began his screen journey on television and emerged as a familiar face in Hindi serials. One of his best-known early television parts was Vikram in the serial Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (2000–2001). He went on to appear in numerous popular TV shows, including Kkusum, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Manshaa, Ayushmaan, Saarrthi, Naaginn, Tenali Rama, RadhaKrishn and Kesari Nandan.
