Manish Raisinghan was born on 22 July 1979 in Solapur, Maharashtra. Raised in a middle-class family, he completed his schooling at St. Joseph High School in Solapur and went on to earn a B.Tech. in mechanical engineering from Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Pune. His roots remain tied to Solapur, which is listed as his hometown.

From an early age Raisinghan engaged in a variety of co-curricular activities. During his college years he stepped into a fashion show as a last-minute replacement and won the Best Model award for that event. That recognition encouraged him to explore modelling and acting more seriously.
