Early life and background

Mansi Taxak was born on 23 July 1998 in Mumbai and grew up in the same city. She completed her schooling at Fellowship Mission School in Vapi, Gujarat, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Mass Media from Bhavan's College in Andheri (W), Mumbai. Her family includes her parents Kuldeep Singh Taxak and Kunika Taxak and two younger siblings, a brother named Aryan and a sister named Vaishali.

From an early age she participated in public speaking and debate competitions at the national level. She was also active in sports throughout school and college, competing in volleyball at the state level and badminton at the district level, and has experience as a state-level athlete.

Career

Taxak began her public career as a model and beauty pageant contestant. In 2019 she participated in Femina Miss India and earned the title of Miss India Gujarat, finishing among the top 12 finalists in the national competition. She later reached the top 50 semifinalists in Miss Diva 2021 and served as a super judge for Miss Queen Online 2021. She was also a jury member for the ramp walk round at Miss Universal Queen 2020.

On the fashion circuit, Taxak has walked at multiple regional and national fashion weeks including Bombay Times Fashion Week 2019, Pune Times Fashion Week 2019, Delhi Times Fashion Week 2019 and Spring Fashion Week 2020. She has been a showstopper at events such as the INIFD Indore Times Fashion Week Season 2 and has modelled designs from prominent Indian designers including Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, Gaurav Gupta, Kresha Bajaj, Kalki Fashion and Gaurang Shah. In print, she has appeared in advertisements for brands such as Rajnigandha Silver Pearls and Aarvi Fashions.

Her on-screen work began with the Hindi short film I Promise (2022), released on the QNET YouTube channel, in which she played the role of Hina. She made her Bollywood debut with a role in Pathaan (2023), and later appeared in the 2023 film Animal in the role of Umm-e-Hani.
