Mayank Dixit was born on 11 January 1986 in New Delhi and grew up in the city. He completed his schooling at Guru Harkrishan Public School, New Delhi, and went on to earn a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Pitampura. Career

Dixit moved to Mumbai after his education to pursue work in the film industry. His first credited involvement in cinema came as an assistant on the 2008 film Yuvvraaj. Over time Dixit expanded into casting and acting coaching.
