Mohan Kapur was born on 27 October 1965 in Mumbai, where he continues to be based. Listed as a Scorpio, he holds Indian nationality and grew up in the city that remains his hometown. He is unmarried.

Career

Kapur began working in entertainment in the early 1990s. His first credited role as a television presenter came in 1992 when he hosted Saanp Seedhi on Zee TV, making him one of the early South Asian hosts of that programme. As an actor he made his debut in 1996, appearing in Beqabu in the role of Zanjarh Singh.
