Early life and background

Naisha Khanna was born on 16 March 2009 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Raised in the city where she was born, she attends Thakur International School in Mumbai. Her father is Rohit Khanna and her mother is Mahek Khanna; she has one younger brother. Naisha is Indian by nationality and her sun sign is Pisces.

She developed an interest in performing early and began appearing in advertisements and television when she was around four years old. Outside of work, she enjoys tennis and swimming, and is an animal lover who has a pet dog.

Career

Naisha’s screen career began in film with a credited appearance in the 2015 feature Brothers, in which she played the role credited as Poopoo. After that debut she continued to work across films, television, web series and commercials, accumulating a range of child roles in mainstream productions.

On the big screen she has been cast in several supporting parts over the years, including roles in Baar Baar Dekho (2016), Firangi (2017), Torbaaz (2020) and Jaane Jaan (2023). Her television work includes guest and recurring child roles such as a guest appearance on Uttaran, Young Anarkali in Dastaan-E-Mohabbat (2018) and Lilavati Bhalekar in Mission Over Mars (2019).

Naisha made her web series debut with Butterflies, produced by Terribly Tiny Tales and released on YouTube in 2022. That same year she also appeared as Tiara in Mind The Malhotras, which was streamed on Amazon Prime.
