Namitha Pramod was born on 19 September 1996 in Kottayam, Kerala. Raised in a Malayali family, she attended Carmel Girls Higher Secondary School in Thiruvananthapuram and later enrolled at St. Teresa’s College, Kochi, where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Her parents are Pramod A R Raveendran, an entrepreneur, and Indu Pramod, a homemaker. She has a younger sister, Akitha Pramod.

Career

Namitha’s performing career began at a young age. She first appeared on television as a child actor in the Malayalam series Amme Devi in 2007 and went on to play roles in several other TV shows during that period. Her transition to film came with a supporting role in the 2011 Malayalam movie Traffic, credited as her cinematic debut.
