Naveen Kumar Goyat was born on 14 February 2000 in Sultanpur, Haryana. Raised in a family with a sporting influence—his grandfather was a wrestler—Naveen grew up playing kabaddi on local grounds and in school physical-training sessions. His father, Sansar Singh Goyat, worked as a driver for Haryana Roadways, while his mother, Meena Goyat, is a homemaker. He has a sister named Sonam Goyat.
