Navjot Kaur Sidhu was born on 15 June 1963 in Ludhiana, Punjab. Raised in a Sikh family, she attended Sacred Heart Convent School in Ludhiana and went on to study medicine at Medical College, Patiala, earning an MBBS degree. She lists travelling, yoga and reading among her personal interests.

Career

Trained as a medical doctor, Navjot Kaur combined her clinical background with public service.
