Early life and background

Neha Bagga was born on 19 March 1991 in Chandigarh, India, and grew up in a conservative family. She attended Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Chandimandir, Panchkula, and went on to study at Panjab University, Chandigarh, where she completed a Master of Business Administration. Her father, Kulbir Singh Bagga, served in the army. She has a younger brother named Atul Bagga.

Career

Bagga made her television debut in 2013, playing Rajji Soham Singh Bhullar in the Colors TV serial Bani: Ishq Da Kalma. That role introduced her to a wider audience and led to subsequent appearances across Indian television. In 2014 she appeared on the crime anthology Savdhaan India – India Fights Back, and in 2015–2016 she played Munmun Singh in the Life OK drama Piya Rangrezz.

She continued to work in television with a role as Dr. Pragya Yadav in the medical romantic drama Savitri Devi College & Hospital on Colors TV in 2017; that series was later re-aired under the title Mere Dil Ki Lifeline. In 2019 Bagga featured as Bubbly in the comedy series Naye Shaadi Ke Siyape on &TV, which ran in two short seasons that year. Her screen work also includes the Punjabi film Reejhan (2019), in which she played the character Baani.

Bagga has appeared in music videos as well, including Hardik Trehan’s Chota Ja Dil (2016) and, in 2021, Bombay Nu Baraat by Ekam Bawa alongside Resty Kamboj.
