Early life and background

Nunui Rualhleng was born on 25 June 1994 in Aizawl, Mizoram. Raised in the state capital, she completed her schooling at Government Mizo Higher Secondary School in Aizawl and pursued higher education at Government Hrangbana College. She is Indian by nationality and, as of 2023, is 29 years old.

Career

Nunui began her career in modeling, working on print advertisements and photoshoots before moving into runway shows. Across several years she walked in regional fashion events including Exposè (2016 and 2017), Pearl (First Flight) 2016 and Fashion League season 3 in 2018. Her runway and pageant experience culminated in her winning the Fbb Colors Femina Miss India Mizoram title in 2019.

Following her state-level win, Nunui represented Mizoram at the national Miss India competition where she finished among the top 12 contestants and earned the sub-titles Miss Congeniality and Miss Fashion Icon.
