Early life and background
Omer Shahzad was born on 14 December 1990 in Karachi, Sindh. He grew up in Karachi and later pursued higher education, gaining admission to an MBA programme in 2014. From a young age he admired Pakistani television actors and aspired to act professionally.

Career
Shahzad launched his career in the fashion industry in 2011 after being selected by Vaneeza Ahmed for Bridal Couture Week. His early exposure included a television appearance and a widely noticed photoshoot that brought offers from prominent designers and fashion houses. Over the years he has modelled for well-known Pakistani designers and walked many major ramps, and his work has appeared on covers of several Pakistani magazines.

Transitioning into acting, Shahzad made his television debut in the drama Adhoori Aurat (2013) on Geo TV, playing the negative character Umair.
