Parakh Madan was born on 2 September 1983 in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, and grew up with connections to Ranchi, which she lists as her hometown. She completed her school education at Delhi Public School, Ranchi, finishing 12th grade in 2001. Parakh pursued higher studies in fashion design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi, and also earned a Bachelor of Computer Application from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

Dance and early training played a central role in her formative years. She began learning Kathak at about six years old in Ranchi and later joined Kalashram in New Delhi, where she trained under the tutelage of Birju Maharaj and performed at events linked to the institution.

Parakh entered the entertainment industry after taking part in beauty pageants and modeling assignments. In 2005 she was featured in Mumbai Times City and the following year she competed at Ponds Femina Miss India. In April 2006 she won the Streax Savvy Cover Girl contest, which led to modeling opportunities and opened the door to television casting.

Her screen debut came in 2006 with the film Jai Santoshi Maa, and she soon transitioned to television with the role of Suman in the series Saathii Re (2006–2007). Over the next decade she worked across both film and television, including a part in the critically noted film Dev.D (2009) and a role as Inspector Monica Mogre in the Zee TV thriller Monica Mogre (2009). She also appeared in the StarPlus comedy‑drama Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum.

Parakh experienced a professional interruption after being diagnosed with Fever of Unknown Origin and stepped away from acting for roughly two years. After recovering she returned to television, playing Gazala Rahil Baig in Qurbaan Hua (2020–2021). She went on to portray Masoom Ahlawat in Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet (2022–2023) and Renu Sinha in Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon (2023). On the big screen, she appeared as Preeti’s sister in Kabir Singh (2019).
