Param Singh was born on 8 September 1988 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, into a middle-class Sikh family. He completed his schooling at Billimoria High School and went on to graduate from M.M.K. College of Commerce & Economics in Mumbai. He later earned an MBA in Finance from Regent’s University of London.

As a child he enjoyed watching classic Hindi and English films, and those films helped form his interest in acting. Though shy in his early years, he kept his acting ambitions private. His parents encouraged him to pursue an academic route and supported his completion of an MBA before he moved into creative work.

Career

After finishing his studies, Param trained in acting at the Barry John Acting School and began auditioning while also doing modelling assignments. He initially focused on film auditions but shifted his attention to television after recognizing that TV often offers more opportunities for emerging actors.
